February 2022: EMB Statistical Solutions, LLC is excited to share news of an expansion to its statistical and programming teams with the hiring of two new associates. Reilly Reis, M.S., senior biostatistician, started her career at PRA Health Sciences/ICON where she gained experience as a statistical specialist in Phase I clinical trials. Maddy Wilks, B.S., joined EMB as a statistical programmer after working at Precision for Medicine. Both Reilly and Maddy have more than six years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and are known to EMB from past work together. We are excited to have them on the EMB team.
EMB participated in the virtual exhibit hall during DIA 2020. In addition, EMB's Alex Karanevich, Ph.D., biostatistician, presented on June 18 during the session titled Utilization of Bayesian Statistics in Clinical Trials.

Alex Karanevich, Ph.D., previously conducted research of applied Bayesian statistics and adaptive trial designs in the R environment as a postdoctoral researcher at KU Medical Center. Kelsey Brown, M.S., started her career at PRA Health Sciences where she gained experience as a specialist in Phase I clinical trials.

Rick Moore Joins EMB as Principal Database Programmer
After receiving his bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Ottawa University, Ottawa, Kansas, Moore got his start at Marion Merrell Dow in 1995 supporting EDC technologies. Through the company's transition to Hoechst Marion Roussel in 1996 and Quintiles in 1999, he continued to design, build, import, reconcile, export, and validate clinical trial databases.
Moore has also managed teams of clinical data programmers. He has extensive experience in documenting the required procedures as well as training and supporting end-users. We’re excited to have him on our team!
